JAKARTA. The Indonesian government will hold another auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) next week, on September 13, 2022, setting an indicative target to IDR 19 trillion.
This SUN auction is meant to fulfil the financing target set in the 2022 State Budget. It will be enacted based on the Minister of Finance Regulations (PMK) No.168/PMK.08/2019 and PMK No.38/PMK.02/2020.
There will be seven series of SUN to be publicly auctioned next week. Two series are Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN), and other five are Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).
The coupon for SPN series will be discounts, while coupons attached to ON series will vary from 6.37% to 7.13%.
The auction will start from 9 AM WIB until 11 AM WIB. As per custom, it is an open auction and uses a multiple price scheme. Any interested party may place their bids through participants of the auction authorised directly by the Ministry of Finance. (KR/ZH)
