JAKARTA. PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR) targets its coal production to reach 2.8 million to 3.3 million tons this year. Thankfully, by the end of the first half of 2022, its production had clocked up to 1.5 million tons.

“Thus, we have met approximately 50% of this year’s production target,” Danuta Komar, Head of Investor Relations of Adaro Minerals, confirmed in today’s (13/9) Public Expose 2022. The operational activities of ADMR also reportedly went up by 7% compared to the numbers seen in the same period last year. This infamous subsidiary of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) managed to generate 1.43 tons of coals in the first half of 2021.

According to Komar, increases in sales volume and average selling price of coals worked together to improve the company’s contribution to the government in the form of royalty.

Komar further revealed that ADMR received quite high demands for coals in this first semester. The coals of ADMR were mostly sold to Japan, China, and India, as well as the domestic market. (AM/ZH)
