TOWR used IDR 1.57 trillion of IDR 4 trillion capex

JAKARTA. Until the end of the first half of 2022, PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) managed to take up IDR 1.57 trillion of this year’s capital expenditure (capex) budget of IDR 4 trillion.

Adam Gifari, Vice President Director of Sarana Menara Nusantara, revealed that 30% of this year’s capex will go to tower business, saving another 40% for connectivity and tower fibre business and the remaining 25% for ground lease.

In Public Expose Live 2022 today (13/9), Gifari mentioned that in the first six months of 2022, the company had acquired over 29,200 towers, over 54,700 tenants, over 109,000 km of profitable fibre optic networks, and over 13,300 connectivity activations.

This year, Gifari projects TOWR’s revenue to reach IDR 10.5 trillion and EBITDA of IDR 9 trillion. For the record, in the first half of 2022, TOWR posted operating revenue of IDR 5.3 trillion, shifting 33.9% higher from IDR 3.97 trillion recorded in 2021. Its EBITDA in H1 2022 also rose 34.1% year-on-year from IDR 3.4 trillion in H1 2022 to IDR 4.57 trilion. Lastly, its net profit remained stable at IDR 1.69 trillion. (AM/ZH)
