Incoming bids in SUN auction hit IDR 52.06 trillion

JAKARTA. The incoming bids recorded in yesterday’s (13/9) auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) amounted to IDR 52.06 trillion, as revealed in the report of Directorate-General of Budget Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance.

There are seven series of SUN offered in said auction, comprising two series of Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and four series of fixed rate (FR). FR0096 attracted the highest amount of bids in this round of auction, scoring IDR 14.89 trillion in total. On the other hand, FR0089 reported the lowest amount of bids, which was stuck at IDR 1.38 trillion.

Following the conditions set by the Ministry of Fiinance, the awarded amount of said seven SUN series clocked up to IDR 19 trillion. Specifically, IDR 2.1 trillion of it came from SPN series, while the most part, IDR 16.9 trillion of it, came from FR series.

Based on idnfinancials.com data, the incoming bids in the auction held on September 13, 2022, was higher than the previous round of auction held on August 30, 2022. In last August’s auction, the government only reported incoming bids of IDR 47.25 trillion. (KR/ZH)
