E-commerce revenue led Ultra Voucher to its 192% profit surge

JAKARTA. PT Trimegah Karya Pratama Tbk (UVCR) or Ultra Voucher, a digital voucher aggregator, recorded a net profit of IDR 3.08 billion in the first half of 2022.

UVCR’s net profit in H1 2022 shifted 192% higher than the numbers seen in the same period last year. in H1 2021, the company posted a net profit of IDR 1.05 billion.

Riky Boy Permata, President Director of UVCR, claimed that the net profit growth of the company in H1 2022 resulted from its revenue, which peaked at IDR 657.7 billion. Said amount was 71% higher than IDR 383.1 billion recorded in the same semester last year.

Permata claimed that the revenue upturn was propelled by the digital acceleration in Indonesia, which particularly takes place post-COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic drove the product distribution in the company’s e-commerce channel quite vigorously.

“The company is also committed not only to modify the interface of its mobile application, which will be launched in 2022, but also tp add payment channels in said application and provide more services to facilitate users to access their desired goods,” Permata explained further.

Regarding partnership, the company also intends to reach out and reinforce collaborations with various brands and industries in order to boost the sales. The company is also confident of improving its performance according to the target. (KR/ZH)
