JAKARTA. PT Mahaka Media Tbk (ABBA) has placed a capital investment in a joint venture named PT Akasia Cepat Indonesia (ACI) worth IDR 500 million.
Tubagus Farash Akbar F., President Director of ABBA, claimed that the amount of investment made by the company is approximately 50% of ACI’s shares. The other half belongs to PT Aeronusa Inti Raya, which also channels an investment worth IDR 500 million.
“The [equity participation] transaction’s purpose is investment in the digital technology sector,” Tubagus revealed in the disclosure page in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Tubagus then mentioned that this investment will not impose any material effects onto ABBA’s operational activities.
Based on idnfinancials.com data, ABBA recorded cash and cash equivalent of IDR 169.46 billion at the end of June 2022. Its total assets also clocked up to IDR 451.23 billion, and its total equity reached IDR 91.55 billion. (KR/ZH)
