Ramayana sets up IDR 300 billion of CapEx

JAKARTA – PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS), the owner and manager of Ramayana Department Store, has allocated capital expenditure budget of IDR 300 billion until the end of this year.

In the public expose material quoted Monday (19/9), Andreas Lesmana, Director of Ramayana Department Store, claimed that the realised capital expenditure until June 2022 amounted to IDR 148 billion.

The specified budget, along with RALS’s plan to introduce new outlets in several cities, is expected to boost the annual revenue. In 2021, the company managed 106 stores, six of which was closed down earlier this year, yet balanced with two newly established outlets and reopening of another two stores in Baturaja and Duri, Riau.

Until August 2022, RALS ran 102 stores, a smaller number than 104 stores it had at the beginning of this year. The closed-down stores were located in Pulogadung, Plaza Jambu Dua, and Kotabumi. Then, a new store opened in Semarang II. (LK/ZH)
