JAKARTA – PT Sriwahana Adityakarta Tbk (SWAT) is currently negotiating with Handri Tohar, its creditor that filed a Suspension of Debt Payment Obligation (PKPU) lawsuit in Semarang District Court. As of now, SWAT has been put in the Fixed PKPU status for 45 days until October 19, 2022.

Tjhie Ellyana Kristiyani, Director of SWAT, revealed that the company’s debt owed to Handri Tohar is IDR 3 billion. “It is a loan utilised for the company’s working capital,” she added in the information disclosure quoted Friday (23/9).

According to Kristiyani, SWAT and Tohar are professional colleagues. The company deems said value quite materially significant, thus urging the company to paid it off in the PKPU process.

Although the lawsuit affects the company materially, it will not impose any impact on SWAT’s business. “Currently, the company and an independent financial consultant are preparing cash flow projection and a settlement agreement,” Kristiyani stated.

As of June 2022, SWAT’s total equity clocked up to IDR 285.58 billion, while its total liabilities amounted to IDR 430.12 billion and total assets reached IDR 715.70 billion. (LK/ZH)
