JAKARTA. PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA) has reportedly established a new subsidiary named PT Kargo Bersama Logistik (KBL) with a total investment of IDR 10 billion.
This new subsidiary was formed together with PT Kargo Bersama Teknologi (KBT). For the record, KBT is also listed as ASSA’s subsidiary, which was freshly established last mid-July.
In the case of KBL establishment, ASSA made an investment worth IDR 1 million, while KBT placed in a capital investment of IDR 9.99 billion.
Jerry Fandy Tunjungan, Corporate Secretary of ASSA, claimed that the investment that has been channelled to KBL originates from ASSA's internal cash. He then expressed his wish for KBL to put in positive contribution to the company’s performance.
“Because the development of this segment aligns with the primary business of the company,” Tunjungan explained in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). (KR/ZH)
