ZONE intensifies expansion by opening new outlets

JAKARTA - PT Mega Perintis Tbk (ZONE), an issuer engaged in retail fashion, intensifies business expansion by taking advantage of the momentum of post-pandemic economic recovery, while minimizing the impact of rising fuel prices (BBM). The Company is determined to encourage increased sales both online and offline.

Until last week of September, the Company has opened 29 new outlets for offline sales, of the total target of opening 40 new outlets for offline sales in 2022

The new outlets that were opened also presented a new sales concept for Salezone, which combines lifestyle & sport wear discounted stores with a target market outside the general shopping center. Outlets with this new concept were developed in a number of locations, such as transit/rest areas on toll roads and stand-alone shops.

Meanwhile, to increase online sales, the Company has set up a special division to support the online sales segment. The Company targets online sales either through its own website or through various marketplaces. "Online sales are also a priority for us at this time," said ZONE Director of Finance, Luki Rusli.

"We are optimistic that through these various marketing expansion activities, we will achieve 2022’s sales target, a 20% rise from 2021. We hope that the conducive situation in the form of economic recovery from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic will continue," said Luki Rusli.

In the 1st semester 2022, the Company booked a net profit of IDR52 billion, an increase of 184% from IDR18.3 billion in the first semester of 2021. The surge in net profit was supported by ZONE sales which continued to increase. In the period January-June 2022, ZONE's net sales increased 33% YoY to IDR355.7 billion. (LM)
