JAKARTA. As the revenue slowed down, PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF) reported a net loss of IDR 205.12 billion.
The financial statement of the company, published in the disclosure page in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) yesterday (2/10), revealed that KAEF’s revenue reached IDR 4.4 trillion in H1 2022. It was 20.4% lower than the same period last year of IDR 5.5 trillion.
KAEF recorded cost of revenue of IDR 2.95 trillion, dragging down its gross profit by 20.97% to IDR 1.48 trillion. As a result, KAEF was left with a net loss of IDR 205.12 billion in H1 2022, facing a massive downturn from the net profit seen in 2021 of IDR 57.6 billion. For comparison, KAEF managed to score 711% net profit surge to IDR 301.99 billion in 2021. (AM/ZH)
