WIKA to issue bonds and sukuk of IDR 2.5 trillion

JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) commences its public offering of bonds and sukuk mudharabah worth IDR 2.5 trillion today (4/10). This round of issuance is a part of the public offering program of Shelf-Registration Bonds III of Wijaya Karya, aiming to raise a total of IDR 4 trillion.

In the short prospectus, it is revealed that the offered bonds are worth IDR 2 trillion, while the sukuk mudharabah covers the remaining IDR 500 billion.

The bookbuilding phase will last from October 4 to 18, 2022, followed by the effective date on October 26, 2022. Then, the main public offering period will take place from October 28 to 31, 2022, before the settlement date on November 1, 2022. Lastly, the electronic distribution is set to November 3, 2022, followed by the recording on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on November 4, 2022.

Both bonds and sukuk will be split into three series. There will be series A with a tenor of 3 years, series A of 5-years tenor, and series C of 7-years tenor. The interest of bonds will be paid every quarter from the emission date, while the profit-sharing of the sukuk mudharabah will be disbursed every three months.

PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo), a local rating agency, has given “Single A” and “Single A Syariah” ratings to WIKA’s bonds and sukuk since July 15, 2022. BNI Sekuritas, Mandiri Sekuritas, and BRI Danareksa Sekuritas will undertake the underwriter position, while PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) will become the trustee. (AM/ZH)
