Bank Bumi Arta readies 1.38 billion shares for rights issue

JAKARTA – PT Bank Bumi Arta Tbk (BNBA) will issue 1.38 billion shares in its second rights issue, scheduled for November 21-25, 2022. The proceeds of this coporate action will be channelled to meet this year’s minimum core capital requirement of IDR 3 trillion.

In the short prospectus quoted today (5/10), PT Surya Husada Investment (SHI), the controller of 25.45% of BNBA, and PT Budiman Kencana Lestari (BKL), the owner of another 10.18%, have declared its willingness to exercise their rights in this corporate action.

Prior to rights issue, BNBA’s authorised capital is set to IDR 800 billion, while its issued and paid-up capital is IDR 277.20 billion. SHI controls 25.45%, while PT Takjub Finansial Teknologi (TFT) has another 40%, followed by PT Dana Graha Agung (DGA) of 15.27%, and BKL of 10.18%. Rachmat Mulia Suryahusada, Wikan Aryono, Hendrik Atmaja and Tan Hendra Jonatahan has 0.01% each, while the public shares the remaining 9.05%. The stock in portfolio is worth IDR 522.80 billion.

After this corporate action, the shareholder structure will remain the same. However, BNBA’s issued and paid-up capital will rise to IDR 415.80 billion, while its stock in portfolio depletes to IDR 384.20 billion. (LK/ZH)
