Incoming bids in the last sukuk auction hit IDR 7.05 trillion

JAKARTA. The amount of incoming bids during the auction of Government Sharia Securities (lit. Surat Berharga Syariah Negara/SBSN) or State Sukuk that was held on October 4, 2022, reportedly reached IDR 7.05 trillion.

In this round of auction, the Indonesian government offered 6 series of sukuk, comprising one series of Sharia Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara Syariah/SPNS) and 5 series of Project-Based Sukuk (PBS).

The highest amount of bids was gathered for PBS036, attracting bids as high as IDR 2.19 trillion. Meanwhile, the highest yield was recorded for PBS029, reaching 7.55%.

Out of all those incoming bids, the Indonesian government managed to absorb IDR 755 billion in total. PBS036 generated IDR 150 billion, as did PBS003. PBS029 brought in another IDR 300 billion, while PBS 034 turned in IDR 5 million, and PBS033 IDR 150 billion.

In addition to this auction, the government also held a greenshoe option earlier today (5/10). There were five series of sukuk that were offered to the public. They are PBS036, PBS003, PBS029, PBS034, dan PBS033. In total, the incoming bids and the awarded amount secured in this extra round of auction clocked up to IDR 2.67 trillion. (KR/ZH)
