JAKARTA. One of the many subsidiaries of PT Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk (PANR), PT Panorama Media (PANM), has received additional capital investment worth IDR 50 billion through the issuance of new shares, which have been acquired by a new investor.
The number of newly issued shares of PANM is 500 thousand units, as revealed in the public diclsoure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The entire shares were then acquired by PT Panorama Investama (PANI), an affiliated company of PANR.
“The capital investment, channelled by PANI to PANM, is expected to improve and solidify the equity and financial condition of PANM, thus, by extension, generating a higher profit for the company,” the management of PANR explained.
After this capital raise, PANR’s portion in PANM is depleted to 13.04% from the initial 99.99%. Another 86.96% of PANM now belongs to PANI.
According to idnfinancials.com data, PANI is an entity owned by one of PANR’s shareholders, Satrijanto Tirtawisata, who is also the President Commissioner of the company. (KR/ZH)
