JAKARTA. The Indonesian government will host another auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) on next Tuesday (11/10), targeting to collect IDR 10 trillion.

This auction is intended to fulfil the financing target set in the 2022 State Budget, as mentioned in the official announcement from the Directorate-General of Budget Financing and Risk Financing (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance. The auction will be held based on the Ministry of Finance Regulation No.168/2019 and No.38/2020.

There will be seven series of SUN to be offered in next week’s auction. They consist of two series of Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and five series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).

The coupon rate set for the SPN series is in the form of discount, while ON series will be equipped with a coupon rate ranging from 6.37% to 7.12%.

The SUN auction will be an open auction and use a multiple price scheme. All interested investors, both individual and institutional investors, may place their bids only through several authorised participants of the auction. (KR/ZH)
