Waskita pays off IDR 1.63 trillion bonds

JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk. (WSKT) paid off the principal and interest of the 20th Waskita Karya Shelf-Registered Bond III Phase I Year 2017 Series B with a total of IDR 1.66 trillion.

Through the disclosure of information at the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Sunday (9/10/2022), WSKT management detailed the bond value of IDR 1.63 trillion and gross bond interest of IDR 34.65 billion. The bond interest rate reached 8.5%. WSKT on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, has paid off the principal and interest on the bonds amounting to Rp1.66 trillion to KSEI.

WSKT is currently accelerating the completion of a number of toll road sections that have received capital injections from the State, as a step to smooth negotiations with prospective toll road buyers. WSKT continues to improve its performance by accelerating the completion of toll road infrastructure projects in Java and Sumatra as well as other strategic projects.

Waskita Karya SVP Corporate Secretary Novianto Ari Nugroho in an official statement last week explained that with government support and the implementation of Waskita's 8 streams of financial restructuring, the company will focus on improving operational performance. One of them is through the completion of toll road sections under the management of the Company's subsidiary namely PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR). (AM/LM)
