OPPM to offer bonds and sukuk worth IDR 4 trillion

JAKARTA – PT Oki Pulp & Paper Mills Tbk (OPPM), a pulp and paper manufacturer, is currently offering Bonds III and Sukuk II worth IDR 4 trillion in total since yesterday until October 20, 2022.

Quoting the prospectus on Tuesday (11/10), it is revealed that Bonds III of 2022 are worth IDR 3 trillion and offered in three series. The tenor is capped at five years. Meanwhile, Sukuk II of 2022 is worth IDR 1 trillion. It is also offered in three series with the longest period of five years.

The management of OPPM will utilise 60% of the proceeds of this issuance of bonds and sukuk to pay principals and interests of its own debts. Another 40% will be spent on raw materials, energy, and packaging materials.

Until March 2022, OPPM and its subsidiaries collected liabilities of USD 2.94 billion, comprising short-term liabilities of USD 1.15 billion and long-term liabilities of USD 1.79 billion. (LK/ZH)
