DANA spotted daily usage surge in Q3 2022

12 October 2022 20:31

JAKARTA. The digital wallet platform DANA recorded an average daily transaction until the third quarter of 2022 of 13.5 million transactions, increasing 190% year-to-date (ytd).

Vince Iswara, CEO and Co-Founder of DANA, believed that this surge in the frequency of daily transaction indicates the start of the ubiquity of digital wallet utilisation. “We are optimistic about joining the contribution in expanding digital financial services and accelerating financial literacy and inclusivity in Indonesia,” he added, as quoted in Investor Daily.

The increase in DANA’s daily transactions reportedly resulted from the number of transactions in the money transfer feature, posting an increase of 386%. Furthermore, the transaction in the billing payment feature also grew 236%, while DANA eMAS feature jumped 289%.

On top of those impressive accounts, the transaction surge was also promoted by the online payment feature for global merchants, such as Apple App Store and Google Playstore, which recorded 203% increase in Q3 2022.

Iswara saw these achievements as a proof of DANA’s readiness and commitment in becoming the integrated financial service provider. By combining technology and latest features that will cover the needs of the public, he is confident that DANA will be able to be the welcoming date for financial services in the future. (KR/ZH)
