Seeking extra capital, MNC Vision to hold a private placement

JAKARTA – PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV), a television subscription service provider, is projected to increase its working capital by IDR 421.98 billion through a private placement. This plan will be further decided during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting scheduled for Nocember 21, 2022.

Quoting the information disclosure on Friday (14/10), IPTV is said to issue 4,219,795,048 series B shares of IDR 100 each. They are equal to approximately 10% of the issued and paid-up capital of the company after this corporate action. As of now, IPTV’s issued and paid-up capital clocks up to 42,197,950,841 shares, comprising 20,80,078,184 series A shares and 21,390,872,657 series B shares.

IPTV’s authorised capital is currently IDR 18 trillion, while its issued and paid-up capital is worth IDR 12.54 trillion. PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) controls 60.67% of them, leaving the public with 39.33%.

In the future, the issued and paid-up capital will increase by IDR 421.98 billion to IDR 12.96 trillion. BMTR will still control 55.15% of the shares, the public owns another 35.76%, while the additional capital from private placement will cover the remaining 9.09%. (LK/ZH)
