Incoming bids hit IDR 6.4 trillion mark

JAKARTA. The amount of incoming bids for the Government Sharia Securities (lit. Surat Berharga Syariah Negara/SBSN) during the auction on October 18, 2022, reportedly clocks up to IDR 6.4 trillion.

Said amount is higher than the indicative target set by the Indonesian government of IDR 5 trillion. Out of the incoming bids, the total awarded amount by the government managed to reach IDR 1.89 trillion.

As reported by idnfinancials.com before, there were six series of sukuk offered in this round of auction. Specifically, one series was Sharia Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara Syariah/SPNS), while five others were Project-Based Sukuk (PBS).

The series that attracted most participants were PBS029, gaining IDR 2.36 trillion of incoming bids. On the other hand, PBS033 secured the lowest amount of incoming bids, capped at IDR 267 billion.

Then, the Indonesian government also proceeded with the green shoe option on October 19, 2022. There were five series of sukuk offered in said extended auction, which consisted of all PBS series initially auctioned off during the initial round on October 18, 2022. (KR/ZH)
