JAKARTA – PT Telesys Indonesia (TI), a subsidiary of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), pairs up with PT Dian Kimia Putera (DKP) to distribute bio propylene glycol (bio PG).
Quoting the information disclosure today (20/10), TI is said to supply bio PG, a chemical ingredient, for users in the local and export markets. DKP is deemed experienced after 20 years of distributing said chemical product for consumers in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food sectors.
This cooperation will last for 12 months, starting from the signing date of the agreement on September 12, 2022. The transaction value is said to reach IDR 328 billion.
Bio PG is believed to have a good prospect as the global population trend that leans into the utilisation of renewable bio-based chemical ingredients. The demand for this product is estimated to rise in several developed countries, such as Germany, the United States, Japan, and France. (LK/ZH)
