JAKARTA - The trading data of the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period from 17 to 21 October 2022 was mostly positive. The highest increase occurred in the average daily transaction value of the Exchange by 14.75 percent to IDR 13.776 trillion from IDR 12.005 trillion.
The average daily transaction frequency of the Exchange also increased by 3.63 percent to 1,207,882 transactions from 1,165,599 transactions in the previous week. The stock market capitalization increased 3.39 percent to IDR9,315.213 trillion from IDR9,009.951 trillion last week.
The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) this week also increased by 2.98 percent or closed at 7,017,771 or from the level of 6,814.530 at the close of the previous week. Meanwhile, the average stock exchange transaction volume changed by 4.70 percent to 22.921 billion shares from 24.052 billion shares a week earlier.
Foreign investors on Friday (21/10) recorded a net purchase value of IDR 1,171.89 billion and throughout 2022, foreign investors recorded a net purchase of IDR 75,521.59 billion. (LM)
