AGRO distributed IDR 6.92 trillion of credits in Q3

JAKARTA – PT Bank Raya Indonesia Tbk (AGRO) distributes IDR 6.92 trillion worth of credits in the third quarter of 2022, recording non-performing loan of IDR 90.77 billion.

Quoting the Financial Statement of Q3 2022 today (27/10), Bhimo Wikan Hantoro, President Director of Bank Raya Indonesia, specified that out of the amount mentioned above, credits in rupiah that were channelled to third parties clocked up to IDR 6.18 trillion, while credits in dollar reached IDR 567.44 billion.

Looking at the sectors of the debtors, the credits mostly went into the agriculture sector, recording IDR 3.14 trillion of credits. Then, the trading sector came second with IDR 1.70 trillion of credits, followed by other sectors, such as construction, industry, business services, transportation, mining, and social services.

In terms of savings, AGRO collected third-party funds of IDR 9.62 trillion, which comprises IDR 1.23 trillion on current accounts, IDR 2.09 trillion of saving accounts, and IDR 628 trillion of time deposits.

The net interest income arrived at IDR 514.15 trillion, slightly weakening from Q3 2021 record of IDR 656.67 billion. Thankfully, AGRO scored IDR 106.38 billion of operating profit, turning the tides from an operational loss of IDR 1.85 trillion in Q3 2021. (LK/ZH)
