JAKARTA - After previously buying 200 million shares of PT Bank Ganesha Tbk, Equity Global International Limited bought another 550 million shares of BGTG today (26/10). This Hong Kong investor now owns more than 12% of Bank Ganesha. Similarly, First Pacific Capital Group Limited, the controlling shareholder of PT Indonesia Prima Property Tbk (OMRE), also increased its ownership to 71% by buying 124 million shares.
Still coming from foreign investment, UOB Kay Hian Pte Ltd started investing in PT Budi Starch & Sweetener Tbk (BUDI) by buying up 225 million shares. Now, the Singapore-based brokerage company owns 5% of BUDI's shares. Suwantara Gotama owns the exact same percentage of PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk after he bought 87.7 million MBSS shares.
Moreover, PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk has bought 100 million shares of PT Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk (ITMA), while 18 million shares of PT Pan Brothers Tbk (PBRX) were also purchased by PT Trisetijo Manunggal Utama.
In contrast, the investors listed below decided to reduce their ownership of several issuers. The first is PT Biofuel Indo Sumatra, which continues to sell BNBR shares. His ownership in PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk decreased by almost 37 million shares. On a smaller scale, PT Lima Satuju Utama sold 10 million shares of PT Sejahtera Bintang Abadi Textile Tbk (SBAT), while 7 million shares of PT Mulia Boga Raya (KEJU) were sold by PT Tudung Putra Putri Jaya. Finally, UOB Kay Hian Hong Kong Ltd. continues to sell 4.48 million shares in PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP). (KD)
