Issuing bonds, Semen Indonesia aims for IDR 80.15 billion

JAKARTA. PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) arranges the issuance of its Shelf-Registration Bonds II Phase I Year 2022 worth IDR 80.15 billion in total.

Based on the information gathered from Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI), these upcoming bonds are included in the public offering program of Shelf-Registration Bonds II, which aims to raise total fresh funds of IDR 3 trillion.

“The remaining amount of principal of these offered bonds, capped at IDR 919.85 billion, will be guaranteed with the best effort,” KSEI announced the news in the official disclosure.

In this phase one issuance, the bonds of SMGR will be offered in two series. Series A will be offered for IDR 16.55 billion with a 7.20% coupon per year and a tenor of three years. Meanwhile, series B will be offered for IDR 63.6 billion, equipped with a coupon of 7.7% per year and a tenor of five years.

The public offering of SMGR’s bonds will last from November 2 to 4, 2022. Then, the electronic distribution of those bonds is said tot take place on November 9, 2022, followed by the listing on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on November 10, 2022.

In this round of bonds issuance, SMGR has appointed three underwriters. They are PT BNI Sekuritas, PT CIMB Niaga Sekuritas, and PT Mandiri Sekuritas. (KR/ZH)
