ABM Investama to repurchase its notes of USD 40 million

JAKARTA. PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM) announced its plan to repurchase USD 40 million of its notes (buyback) that will mature in 2026.

Rindra Donovan, Corporate Secretary of ABMM, mentioned that the funds used for this notes buyback will be taken out of the proceeds of a tender offer that was recently held by the company. These notes have a principal of USD 200 million and a fixed interest rate of 9.5%.

“On the date that this information disclosure is issued, there have been no particular impacts on the operational activities, legal, financial situation, or the business sustainability of the company,” Donovan explained in the official disclosure.

Based on idnfinancials.com data, ABMM reported having cash and cash equivalent of USD 291.75 million as of June 30, 2022. Meanwhile, its total assets clocked up to USD 1.22 billion, while its total equity were worth USD 432.93 million. (KR/ZH)
