DCII and Google to join forces in combating migration challenges

11 November 2022 10:48

JAKARTA. PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII) has entered a cooperation agreement with Google to support companies in handling the migration of information and technology, which has hindered the data-based innovation.

DCII has previously created an innovation, which is a local cloud hybrid called DCI Enterprise Database Solution (EDS). This solution is intended to be utilised by companies with a particular database that could not be transferred to cloud easily. The innovation will then be featured in Google Cloud Marketplace under the managed services segment.

Toto Sugiri, the Founder and President Director of DCII, highlighted several factors and risks that stand in the way of a smooth digital transformation. "In order to aid companies in handling this issue and taking a significant step towards their database modernisation to achieve the future cloud native system, we have collaborated with Google Cloud to design a flexible server-as-a-service solution," Sugiri stated in the official disclosure.

This collaborative initiative is granted a positive welcome from Google Cloud Indonesia. Megawaty Khie, Country Director of Google Cloud Indonesia, claimed that the cooperation with DCII will lead businesses in Indonesia to step into the next phase of digital transformation.

"With DCI EDS, they can optimise the utilisation of cloud-model operation mode that will accelerate innovation and allow for cost efficiency," Khie explained. (KR/ZH)
