JAKARTA – PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) joins forces with Trina Solar Co Ltd from China to establish a solar cell panel and photovoltaic module factory in Indonesia. There are other parties involved in this cooperation, including PT Power Indonesia and PT Agra Surya Investindo.
Susan Chandra, Corporate Secretary of Dian Swastatika Sentosa, claimed that this collaboration will be carried out by its indirect subsidiary, PT Daya Anugerah Sejati Utama (DASU). “Hopefully, this concrete cooperation, which is a continuation of the previous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), can be soon realised,” she announced in the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (16/11).
According to Chandra, said MoU was signed amidst B20 process, which is a part of G20 forum in Nusa Dua, Bali. The signing of said cooperation plan was witnessed by Bahlil Lahadalia, Head of Investment Coordinating Board, and Arsjad Rasjid P. M., the Chairman of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The MoU covered the collaboration opportunity, as well as the operational aspects of the solar cell panel and photovoltaic module factory with a capacity of 1 Gigawatt peak (GWp) per year. (LK/ZH)
