Foreigners sell, net foreign continues to fall

16 November 2022 11:23

JAKARTA - Tuesday (15/11), the net foreign volume fell further. This drop of nearly 360 million shares was due to the volume of foreign purchases not even reaching 1.75 billion shares, while the sales volume was stable at over 2 billion. BUMI of PT Bumi Resources Tbk had the highest foreign sale with 223 million shares, although the lowest net volume was recorded by GOTO (PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk) at negative 71 million, with sales of only 122 million shares.

Next, foreign investors also sold more than 164 million shares of PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), nearly 89.5 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), and slightly more than 36 million shares of PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA).

Unlike the sales list, no foreign purchase reached a volume of 100 million shares. The largest purchase was recorded by PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) with 93 million shares. However, it was followed by the sale of nearly 80 million shares, bringing BNBR's net volume to only 13.5 million. PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR) had the highest net volume with 35 million shares when its foreign purchase was only 48 million.

Furthermore, the shares of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) still seem to attract foreign attention, with sales of 71 million shares. Then, 27 million shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) and 20 million shares of PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) were also put in the holding of foreigners. (KD)
