JAKARTA. PT Multipolar Tbk (MLPL) managed to sell 8 units of small office home office (SOHO) to its affiliate for IDR 33 billion.
The affliated company in question is PT Visionet Data Internasional (VDI). For the record, VDI is one of subsidiaries of MLPL with an ownership percentage of 99.95%.
MLPL and VDI had signed the sale and purchase agreement on November 15, 2022. The total transaction value clocked up to IDR 36.3 billion, including the value-added tax (VAT) of 11%.
“The company believes that this transaction will grant many positive benefits for VDI, such as stocking up fixed assets so that they might become valuable investment in VDI’s business activities,” the management of MLPL mentioned in the official release.
The total area of the SOHO units can be rounded up to 3,035 square metres. Those units were erected over 11 tracts of land with a total area of 957 square metres, located in the Lippo Cyber Park complex, Tangerang. (KR/ZH)
