JAKARTA. PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) had secured new contracts worth IDR 21.89 trillion at the end of the second week of November 2022, still climbing from IDR 21.82 trillion seen in late October 2022.

In October 2022, PTPP was last seen obtaining new contracts worth IDR 21.82 trillion in total. The new contracts were still dominated by State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) projects, taking up 49% of the contracts. Then, the government’s projects followed with 36%, while the private sector commissioned the remaining 15%.

Most of the freshly obtained contracts of PTPP came from the construction service business, generating 77% of the total contracts. Then, another 18% originated from the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, while the property and realty projects contributed 4%, and other projects 1%.

Bakhtiyar Efendi, Corporate Secretary of PTPP, revealed that the most recent jumbo new contract is port-related projects. “There are two seaport projects that have been secured. They are the Patimban Phase 2 Package 6 project worth IDR 823 billion and the Jetty project in East Kalimantan worth IDR 682 billion,” he specified in detail in the official disclosure.

With these new contracts on hand, PTPP is confident in attaining its target by the end of this year. “PTPP will keep trying to reach the company’s performance target that has been set by the management,” Efendi claimed. (KR/ZH)
