JAKARTA - The stock market did not appear to be overly active on Wednesday (16/11). Only 5 million shares, acquired by PT Harimas Tunggal Perkasa from plastic issuer PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (IMPC), represented the biggest volume of added ownership.

Following this, the majority shareholder, PT Pangan Sejahtera Investama, bought 2.5 million shares of snack manufacturer PT FKS Food Sejahtera Tbk (AISA), bringing its ownership to 57.5%. After that, PT Sunter Lakeside Hotel Tbk (SNLK) shares were also purchased by its parent company, Unilink Ventures Inc., for approximately 1.15 million shares. Finally, PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) continues repurchasing up to 1 million shares as part of its share buyback program.

This time, the divestment side looks slightly more active, with three foreign investors reducing their ownership. First, Bintang Bara B.V. released 8.5 million shares of PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA), then UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) again sold 2.4 million shares of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP), and 718 thousand shares of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) were also sold by Archipelago Investment Pte Ltd.

In the domestic market, it's interesting to note that PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala reduced the shares of its subsidiary, PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk, by 14.2 million (SMMA). On a smaller scale, PT Tudung Putra Putri Jaya sold 467 thousand shares of PT Mulia Boga Raya (KEJU). In comparison, PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk sold 200 thousand shares of PT Tri Banyan Tirta Tbk (ALTO). (KD)
