JAKARTA – PT Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (SRAJ), the owner of Mayapada Hospital network, recorded its current year’s loss of IDR 36.32 billion in the third quarter of 2022. In Q3 2021, it managed to collect profit of IDR 222.36 billion. This sharp decline was a result of decreased revenue, combined with the increased direct expenses.

In the financial report quoted Tuesday (22/11), Grace Dewi Riady, President Director of Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya, revealed that SRAJ’s revenue reached IDR 1.4 trillion in Q3 2022, dropping 9.35% from IDR 1.54 trillion in Q3 2021. Similarly, its gross profit shrank 33.58% year-on-year (yoy), from IDR 620.84 billion to IDR 412.33 billion, due to its direct expenses that shifted from taking up 59.80% of the total revenue to 70.55% in Q3 2022.

In this period, all segments of SRAJ showed decreases in revenue. However, in-house patient care still led the revenue contribution with IDR 501.47 billion, followed by medicine sales of IDR 411.68 billion, polyclinic segment of IDR 195.13 billion, laboratories of IDR 190.70 billion, radiology of IDR 85.63 billion, haemodialysis centre of IDR 20.21 billion, and medical check-ups of IDR 18.80 billion.

Furthermore, its operating profit took a dive, shifting from IDR 276.80 billion to IDR 5.84 billion (yoy), as its general and administrative expenses rose from IDR 333.93 billion to IDR 391.94 billion. As a consequence, its current year’s comprehensive loss reached IDR 35.87 billion in Q3 2022, plummeting from its current year’s comprehensive profit of IDR 232.32 billion. (LK/ZH)
