Bank Bumi Artha eyes IDR 828.52 billion in a rights issue

JAKARTA – PT Bank Bumi Artha Tbk (BNBA) seeks additional capital worth IDR 828.52 billion in a rights issue that will take place from December 5 to 9, 2022. Its shareholders have collectively agreed to take part in this corporate action according to their portions.

Based on the prospectus quoted Wednesday (23/11), BNBA plans to issue 616 million shares, approximately 18.18% of its total issued and paid-up capital after rights issue. The exercised price in this corporate action has been set to IDR 1,345 per share.

The management of BNBA will then utilise 80% of the proceeds of the rights issue for its working capital. Then, another 10% will be channelled as an investment in information and technology infrastructure, while the remaining 10% will be spent on the development of new products, such as digital savings and deposits.

BNBA currently has an authorised capital of IDR 800 billion. Its issued and paid-up capital clocks up to IDR 338.80 bilion, while the stock in its portfolio reaches IDR 461.20 billion in value. PT Surya Husada Investment (SHI) owns 25.45% of the shares, followed by PT Takjub Finansial Teknologi (TFT) of 40%, PT Dana Graha Agung (DGA) of 15.27%, and PT Budiman Kencana Lestari (BKL) of 10.18%. Then, Rachmat Mulia Suryahusada, Wikan Aryono S, Hendrik Atmaja, and Tan Hendra Jonathan has 0.01% each, followed by Edwin Suryahusada of 0.00%. Lastly, public investors share the remaining 9.06% among themselves. (LK/ZH)
