JAKARTA – The profit of PT Temas Tbk (TMAS) soared 70.30% in Q3 2022 from the numbers seen in the same period in 2021. This increase is supported by significant jump in its revenue, as well as efficiency in financial expenses.
In the financial report quoted today (23/11), Fathy Kusumo, President Director of Temas, claimed that the company collected a profit of IDR 1.06 trillion in Q3 2022, skyrocketing from IDR 623.25 billion in Q3 2021. Its operating profit also grew from IDR 924.88 billion to IDR 1.14 trillion, as did its profit before income and fiinal taxes from IDR 790.55 billion to IDR 1.11 trillion.
This achievement was made possible by the 56.05% yearly increase in TMAS’s revenue from IDR 2.35 trillion to IDR 3.67 trillion in Q3 2022. The shipping services brought in IDR 2.93 trillion, while stevedoring services generated IDR 1.15 trillion. For comparison, in Q3 2021, the shipping services only turned in IDR 1.77 trillion of revenue, whereas stevedoring services only contributed IDR 1.03 trillion.
In Q3 2022, the domestic users still dominated TMAS’s market, bringing in IDR 3.13 trillion of revenue, compared to the revenue of foreign users of IDR 536.15 billion. In the same period last year, domestic users generated IDR 2.24 trillion of revenue, while foreigners brought in IDR 111.28 billion. (LK/ZH)
