JAKARTA – PT Victoria Investama Tbk (VICO) aims to gain extra capital of IDR 1.79 trillion through its rights issue that is scheduled to take place two weeks from now, from December 7 to 13, 2022.
Aldo Jusuf Tjahaja, President Director of VICO, revealed that the company will issue a maximum of 9,963,922,679 shares of IDR 100 each. “The offering price that will be exercised in this corporate action is set to IDR 180 per share,” he mentioned in the information disclosure quoted today (25/11).
The management of VICO has also set the ratio of rights issue to 100:99, meaning that for every 100 old shares, the shareholders are entitled to 99 units of rights issue shares.
The proceeds of the rights issue will be utilised to improve VICO’s capital structure. Approximately 23.81% of the proceeds will be used for the purpose of the rights issue of PT Bank Victoria Tbk (BVIC). Another 15.67% will be spent on acquiring 288 million of BVIC’s shares in PT Bank Victoria Syariah (BVIS), leaving the 60.52% for extra investment in BVIS. (LK/ZH)
