JAKARTA. In the first day of rights issue last week (24/11), PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB) announced the extra issuance of 713,877,043 shares, bringing the total existing shares to 10,041,324,061 units.
In the official disclosure yesterday (27/11), Jimmi Maulana Sidik, Director of Securities Administration Bureau of BBYB, confirmed that the company had channelled 713,877,043 extra shares last Thursday (24/11), right on the first day of the rights issue. Therefore, the total shares of BBYB listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) now amount to 10.04 billion units, while the number of BBYB-R’s shares now clock up to 1,903,256,800 units.
The trading session of the fourth rights issue of BBYB commenced on November 24, 2022, and ended on November 30, 2022. The number of shares issued by BBYB amounts to 2,617,133,843 new shares at most. They have a face value of IDR 100 each and are traded for IDR 650 per share.
In this rights issue, BBYB is projected to collect IDR 1.7 trillion, way smaller that the initial prediction of IDR 5 trillion. However, Tjandra Gunawan, President Director of Bank Neo Commerce, claimed that said amount will suffice to bring the core capital to its minimum requirement of IDR 3 trillion by the end of 2022. Until the third quarter of 2022, the equity of BBYB managed to reach IDR 2.25 trillion. (AM/ZH)
