AMAG aims for 10% growth in 2023

JAKARTA – PT Asuransi Multi Artha Guna Tbk (AMAG) is projecting 10% growth in its revenue and profit in 2023. By the end of this year, the gross premium revenue and net profit are estimated to reach IDR 2.1 trillion and IDR 130 billion.

In the public expose treatise quoted Monday (28/11), Israeni Miradani, Corporate Secretary of AMAG, claimed that the company is confident that this positive trend will continue to take place next year, even amidst the slight surge in COVID-19 cases in November 2022. “We plan to attain 10% growth next year,” she stated.

According to Miradani, said growth target is set based on a long-term analysis of the market growth rate, showing 8% next year. “We aim for digitalisation to drive our productivity and investments in digital consumer services,” she further explained.

On top of this, the company is said to enhance its service in claim response and its underwriting, as well as its marketing and distribution network.

As of September 2022, AMAG collected the gross premium revenue of IDR 1.91 trillion, climbing from IDR 1.78 trillion in the same period in 2021. The net profit also increased yearly from IDR 107.57 billion to IDR 132.68 billion. (LK/ZH)
