JAKARTA – The profit of PT Distribusi Voucher Nusantara Tbk (DIVA) plummeted 2,621% in Q3 2022 compared to the profit seen in Q3 2021. This massive downturn resulted from the inadequate gains from other investments during said period.

In the financial report quoted Monday (28/11), Stanley Tjandra, Director of DIVA, revealed that the revenue clocked up to IDR 3.61 trillion, 0.4% higher than IDR 3.59 trillion in Q3 2021. Its gross profit also shifted higher from IDR 70.58 billion to IDR 79.77 billion (year-on-year/yoy) after its cost of revenue decreased to 97.77% of revenue.

The operating profit reportedly swelled from IDR 9.44 trillion to IDR 11.47 trillion (yoy), whereas its current year’s net profit massively dropped from IDR 1.25 trillion to IDR 46.82 billion. As it turned out, this significant slippage was due to 2,940% (yoy) contraction in its gains from other investments, dragging down the initial IDR 42.27 trillion of gains to IDR 1.27 trillion.

The digital and service segment dominated the revenue with IDR 3.51 trillion, slightly improving 3.3% yoy from IDR 3.39 trillion, followed by the digital financial service of IDR 89.1 billion, slipping off from IDR 139.1 billion (yoy), and the tour and travel segment of IDR 7 billion, also shrinking from IDR 58.2 billion. Lastly, the logistic segment failed to contribute any revenue unlike its performance in the same period last year, contributing IDR 600 million to the revenue. (LK/ZH)
