Green net foreign at the start of November's final week

JAKARTA - Foreign investors' trade had a slight surplus of 39.59 million shares entering the final week of November. On Monday (November 28), the volume of foreign purchases and sales was in the 1.8 billion share range. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) contributed the highest net volume, 71.1 million, as a result of foreign investors purchasing 140.9 million BBRI shares.

Second, foreigners purchased 102.37 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), despite accounting for only half of BBRI's net volume. In addition, foreigners bought 39.73 million shares of oil and gas issuer PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), 40.7 million shares of insurance issuer PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF), and 37.58 million shares of mining contractor issuer PT Darma Henwa (DEWA).

In contrast, the shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) seem quite volatile in the market. Foreigners purchased more than 91 million GOTO shares but also sold 142.72 million, making the net volume minus 50.89 million shares. PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana Tbk (BSBK) shares also recorded a net volume of minus 32.82 million after their shares were sold by foreigners for 43.28 million.

Foreign investors also released at least 39.98 million shares of modern retail issuer PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA), 45.01 million shares of telecommunications infrastructure provider PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG), and 37.20 million shares of coal mining issuer PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR).
