JAKARTA. The mining contractor service and coal mines continued to generated generous contributions to the increased revenue of PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM), now reaching USD 1.02 billion or increasing 46.2% from USD 702.81 million seen in Q3 2021. This integrated coal mining company also posted an impressive 79.90% surge in its net profit to USD 169.92 million.
Based on the financial report of ABMM, the mining contractor service and coal mine segment brought in USD 879.10 million of revenue, covering 85.42% of the total sales of USD 1.02 billion. The revenue from the service business line was split into the onces brought in by the logistic and ship rental services of USD 97.32 million, the site services division and remanufacturing of USD 33.79 million, and electric power generator rental of USD 727,145. Other business lines that contributed to ABMM’s revenue of Q3 2022 included manufacturing of USD 14.87 million and fuel trading of USD 3.25 million.
In terms of expenses, its cost of revenue swelled 33.44% year-on-year/yoy) from USD 473.74 million to USD 636.91 million at the end of Q3 2022. However, its gross profit managed to proliferate 71.20% yoy to USD 392.17 million. Once the expenses were deducted and other revenue and profits were inserted, the company ended up with a current year’s net profit of USD 232.95 million, skyrocketing 114.26% yoy.
As of now, ABMM’s total assets reportedly clocked up to USD 1.83 billion, increasing from USD 1.03 billion seen in December 2021. Meanwhile, its total liabilities and equity as of September 2022 reportedly reached USD 1.31 billion and USD 513.93 million. (AM/ZH)
