JAKARTA – State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) reportedly collected a consolidated net profit of IDR 155 trillion at the end of the third quarter of 2022, skyrocketing from the numbers seen in the same period last year. In 2021, it only managed to bring home IDR 125 trillion of net profit, and it was even worse in 2020, in which the profit only reached IDR 13 trillion.

Based on the report of the Working Meeting of Commission VI of House of People’s Representatives of Indonesia (DPR RI) and the Ministry of BUMN received by idnfinancials.com today (6/12), this net profit has yet to include Garuda Indonesia’s profit that clocks up to IDR 54 trillion. Thus, once accumulated thoroughly, the consolidated profit of BUMN could be rounded up to IDR 209 trillion.

Furthermore, the total contribution of BUMN (dividend, taxes, and non-tax revenue) from 2020-Q3 2022 amounted to IDR 1,198 trillion, rising significantly by IDR 68 trillion from IDR 1,130 trillion seen in 2017-2019. (LK/ZH)
