Incoming bids from the SUN auction today hit IDR 27.66 trillion

JAKARTA. The amount of bids placed in today’s (6/12) auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) reportedly clocked up to IDR 27.66 trillion, as revealed by the Directorate-General of Budget Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance.

Said amount of incoming bids was accumulated from the seven series of SUN. As mentioned in idnfinancials.com before, these seven series consist of 2 Government Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 FR-series Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).

The highest amount of incoming bids was directed to FR0096 series, scoring IDR 9.07 trillion. Meanwhile, SPN12231207 recorded the lowest amount of bids, amounting to IDR 720 billion.

Out of all these incoming bids, the Indonesian government only managed to absorb IDR 15.5 trillion. Specifically, IDR 100 billion came from SPN003230308, IDR 275 billion from SPN12231207, IDR 125 billion from FR0095, IDR 1.16 trillion from FR0096, IDR 382 billion from FR0098, IDR 400 billion from FR0097, and IDR 295 billion from FR0089.

Last week, the indicative target for this round of auction has been set by the government to IDR 15 trillion. Therefore, this amount of incoming bids is slightly higher than the publicly announced target. (KR/ZH)
