CLEO to build three factories in 2023

JAKARTA – PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO), a bottled water manufacturer, plans to establish three new factories in Lampung, Pekanbaru, and Manado, starting next year. CLEO is then projected to manage 33 bottled water manufacturing facilities in total.

Melisa Patricia, Vice President Director of CLEO, said that the establishment of new facilities is intended to minimise distribution costs. “We continue to gain confidence in our expansion strategy by building new factories and extending our distribution network,” she stated in the press release quoted Wednesday (7/12).

This year, CLEO has enlarged five of its factories in Banjarmasin, Citeureup, and Bojonegoro. Meanwhile, the upcoming production facilities will be located in di Balikpapan, Palangkaraya, and Palembang. The company has allocated IDR 220 billion of capital expenditure to expand its distribution network in Java, Sumatra, and Kalimantan.

As confirmed by phone, M. Aditya, Media Relation of CLEO, said that the amount of investment for these three new factories is yet to be disclosed in detail. However, it is estimated to be close to the allocated budget of IDR 220 billion. (LK/ZH)
