JAKARTA. PT Global Tiket Network (Tiket.com), a subsidiary of PR Global Digital Niaga Tbk (BELI), has reportedly established its latest subsidiary in Malaysia called Global Tiket Malaysia Sdn Bhd (GTM).
Eric Winarta, Corporate Secretary of BELI, claimed that GTM is entirely under the control of Tiket.com. The scope of business activities of GTM includes online travel agency, as well as ticket, accommodations, and other travel-related reservation services," he specified further in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange earlier today (9/12).
"The formation of GTM has no adverse impacts on the operational activities, legal position, financial condition, and business sustainability of the company," Winarta added.
For the record, BELI has just been publicly listed on IDX on November 8, 2022. In said corporate action, the company raised fresh funds of IDR 7.99 trillion.
Approximately IDR 5.5 trillion of the IPO proceeds will be used by BELI to pay off its loan facility debts to BBCA and BTPN. The rest of it will be utilised by BELI and Tiket.com as a working capital to sustain its primary business line and expand it further. (KR/ZH)
