JAKARTA – PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) is arranging its interim dividend distribution of approximately USD 1 billion or USD 0.03 per share. The disbursement will take place next year, on January 5, 2023.
This interim dividend distribution for the fiscal year 2022 had been discussed by the Board of Directors of BYAN and approved by its Board of Commissioners on December 7, 2022. “The interim dividend will be distributed in rupiah, using the middle exchange rate of Bank Indonesia on the recording date,” the management confirmed in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) earlier today (8/12).
The recording date for this interim dividend distribution has been set to December 21, 2022, at 4.15 PM WIB.
Furthermore, the cum and ex dividend in the regular and negotiation market have been scheduled on December 19-20, 2022, while the cum and ex dividend of the cash market will follow on December 21-22, 2022.
As of September 2022, BYAN’s net profit reportedly arrived at USD 1.6 billion, while its unrestricted retained earnings and total equity clocked up to USD 2.26 billion and USD 2.45 billion, respectively. (ZH)
