JAKARTA – PT Lima Dua Lima Tiga Tbk (LUCY), a restaurant chain owner, will establish some additional outlets next year. The funds for this plan will be sourced out from the proceeds of the initial public offering (IPO), amounting to IDR 8 billion.
Surya Andarurachman Putra, President Director of LUCY, claimed that the company will establish three new outlets of Lucy by the Beach in several locations, including Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) in Jakarta, Makassar, and Bali. “Beaches are still the most popular alternative for the public’s holiday destination,” he reasoned in the public expose treatise quoted Tuesday (13/12).
According to Putra, those outlets will utilise leased spaces that have been paid for the next two years. The estimated budget for the two-years lease reaches approximately IDR 2 billion.
The company has realised IDR 23 billion of the IPO proceeds, which are now down to the remaining IDR 8 billion. “Said amount is predicted to be completely used up by the first quarter of 2023 with this new outlet establishment plan,” Putra said. (LK/ZH)
