Tolaram Group acquired another 1.14 billion shares of Bank Amar

JAKARTA - Tolaram Group Inc., the largest shareholder of AMAR, purchased another 1.14 billion shares of PT Bank Amar Indonesia Tbk (AMAR) on Friday, December 16. The purchase of these shares increased this Singaporean company's ownership by 2%, to 69.08%. Aside from Tolaram, several other controlling shareholders appear to be increasing their stakes. PT Finaccel Teknologi Indonesia purchased 275.60 million shares of PT Krom Bank Indonesia Tbk (BBSI), increasing its stake to 76.91%. The controller of PT Sigmantara Alfindo then purchased up to 120 million shares of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT). Meanwhile, as the majority shareholder, PT Griyainsani Cakrasadaya purchased 55.45 million shares of PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA).

PT Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (BINA) shares appear to be in high demand in the banking world. At least three shareholders of the Salim Group-owned bank have increased their stakes, beginning with PT Samudra Biru, which purchased 71.62 million shares. PT Indolife Pensiontama also purchased 63.73 million BINA shares, while PT Gaya Hidup Masa Kini purchased 53.15 million.

In contrast, the GOTO Peopleverse Fund distributed 337.57 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia (GOTO). PT Sapihanean Pangan Lestari also issued 300 million shares of PT Indo Pureco Pratama Tbk (IPPE), and PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk sold up to 3 million shares of PT Tri Banyan Tirta Tbk (ALTO).
