JAKARTA - On Tuesday, December 20, the net volume of foreign investor transactions appeared to be increasing compared to the previous day. Despite the fact that the volume of shares sold by foreigners was still higher, the volume of purchases reached 2.12 billion shares this time. Surprisingly, the total foreign volume, which is slightly below half a billion shares (-496 million to be exact), is still better than the net volume of GOTO shares, which is more than negative 503 million. The foreign transactions of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares are still taking place in significant volume, with foreign investors selling 1.414 billion GOTOshares and buying as many as 911.2 million.
PT Bukalapak.com Tbk, another technology company, reported foreign sales of 109.18 million shares, bringing the total foreign volume to minus 67.04 million. Foreign investors also sold 33.67 million shares of PT Bangun Karya Perkasa Jaya (KRYA), resulting in a negative net volume of 24.31 million. Furthermore, foreign stakeholder companies sold shares in PT Adaro Energy Indonesia (ADRO) and PT Bumi Resources Minerals (BRMS) in volumes of 23.52 million and 12.07 million, respectively, resulting in a net volume of minus 11 to 13 million shares in both companies.
On the other hand, international shareholders are still looking at PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares for foreign investment. Foreigners purchased up to 160.55 million BUMI shares, resulting in the highest net volume of 122.13 million shares. Foreign shareholders also purchased PT Fuji Finance Indonesia Tbk (FUJI) up to 48.21 million shares with no sales, so the net volume is the same figure. Following that, the shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG) and PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (BIPI) remained in demand, as evidenced by the sale of approximately 35 million shares by each of the two issuers.
